Mr. Naimatullah Phulpoto was appointed as Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate on 26.12.1985; promoted as Senior Civil Judge, Additional District & Sessions Judge, District & Sessions Judge and posted at various Districts of Sindh.
His Lordship was elevated as a Judge of the Sindh High Court on 01.06.2012
As a Judge of High Court, his lordship decided more than 14832 cases on various branches of law, Criminal Appeals/ Murder Confirmation References/ Special Anti-Terrorism Appeals/ Criminal Accountability Appeals/Constitution Petitions/ Civil Appeals/ Revisions/ Election Appeals and Service matters, 398 judgments have been reported in different law journals, 417 have been approved for reporting.
He was also nominated as:
- Senior Judge for one year at Sukkur Bench on 05.08.2019.
- Chairman of Sindh Subordinate Judiciary Service Tribunal, Sindh High Court, Karachi and Administrative Judge, Anti-Terrorism Courts.
- Member of Board of Governors for Greenwich University, Karachi.
- Member Syndicate for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development, Khairpur Mir's
- Member Board of Governors for Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology Karachi.
- Authorized Officer under Sindh Civil Servants (E&D) Rules, 1973 in respect of District & Sessions Judges, Additional District & Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges & Assistant Sessions Judge and Civil Judges & Judicial Magistrates
- Chairman of Development Committee of High Court.
- Chairman of Rule Committee (Criminal) and Committee to determine Inter-se Seniority amongst Judicial Officers.
Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto retired on February 4, 2025.
