
Mr. Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry
Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry completed his LL.B. in 1997 from Sindh Muslim Government Law College, Karachi, and simultaneously a course in Business Administration from Adamson University of the Philippines, Karachi Campus. In 1998, he enrolled as an Advocate with the Sindh Bar Council. From 1999-2000 he studied at McGill University, Montreal, Canada for a certification in Comparative Law. In 2000, he enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court, and in 2012, as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He was partner at a leading law firm at Karachi till 6th February 2018 when he was appointed Judge of the Sindh High Court. In such capacity, he was nominated to the Board of Governors and Syndicates of various Universities, monitoring Judge of various Tribunals and member of the ADR Committee of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan. He has been on various administrative committees of the Sindh High Court and has remained Chairman of its ADR Committee. He represented the Sindh High Court at the Lahore Disputes Resolution Conference (May 2023), Seminar for Pakistani Judges at China (June 2023), ADR Development Strategy Country Exchange, Malaysia (August 2023), Pakistan International Disputes Weekend Conference, Karachi (May 2024), seminar on Irregular Migrations held by the National Commission on Human Rights, Karachi (November 2024) and SECP’s Stakeholders Consultation on Insolvency & Debt Enforcement, Islamabad (December 2024). |
