Mr. Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry
Justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry completed his LL.B. in 1997 from Sindh Muslim Government Law College, Karachi, and simultaneously a course/credits in Business Administration from Adamson University of the Philippines, Karachi Campus. He enrolled as an Advocate in 1998 with the Sindh Bar Council. From 1999-2000 he studied at McGill University, Montreal, Canada for a certification in Comparative Law. In 2000, he enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court, and in 2012, as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He remained partner of a leading law firm at Karachi until 6th February, 2018 when he was appointed as a Judge of the High Court Sindh. In such capacity he has also functioned as the Appellate Tribunal for conduct of by-elections, as the Special Appellate Court, Sindh under the Prevention of Smuggling Act, and has been nominated to the Syndicates of the Sindh University, Jamshoro; Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi; Member of the Governing Body of Ziauddin University, Karachi; and monitoring Judge of the Insurance Tribunal and Anti-Encroachment Tribunals, Sindh. Of the administrative committees of the High Court of Sindh, he is a member of the Rule Committee (Civil) and the Board on Judicial Studies & Administration Training and Seminar.He also represents the High Court of Sindh in the ADR Committee of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan. |
